Woman robbed of gold booty worth Rs 73,000 in Aapli Bus

Nagpur: A young woman, travelling in Aapli Bus, was robbed of gold booty worth Rs 73,000 in Sitabuldi area on Sunday evening.

A resident of Plot No. 14, Urban Colony, Adivasi Society, Wadi, Pushpa Vijay Gowardhan (24) along with family was returning home after attending a marriage around 7 pm on Sunday. Pushpa and her family boarded Aapli Bus at LIC Square in Sadar and disembarked opposite Moonlight Studio at Variety Square. Soon she realised that her gold ornaments worth Rs 73,000 kept in purse were missing. Some unidentified miscreant stole Pushpa’s gold jewellery while travelling in the bus. She registered a case with Sitabuldi police in this connection.
