Nagpur: Torana Inc. invited Dr. Shabina Hussain, a renowned psychotherapist & counsellor of Nagpur for ‘Manobal – a session on Emotional Empowerment’. The session was held at The East India Company Restro Lounge. Shubhada Jambhekar, Manager (HR Operations) conducted the session introduced Dr. Hussain to the attendees. Smita Gawande, CEO of Torana Inc. welcomed Dr. Hussain.
Dr. Shabina Hussain first spoke about managing emotions. She gave a script for negative emotions like anger, hurt, anxiety, jealousy, envy shared the importance of being aware of these emotions to manage them better. She said that emotions cannot be stopped but they can be regulated. She then spoke about self-talk. She advised the attendees to analyze their self-talk and recognize whether it is criticizing or acknowledging or appreciating. She spoke about importance of financial freedom by the means of proper financial planning. She then spoke about parenting & gave some tips on how to communicate with children.

Finally, she took a demonstration on Meditation which was highly appreciated. The attendees asked a lot of questions got many of their doubts cleared with Dr. Hussain.
