Nagpur: Priyadarashini J.L. College of Engineering organised a workshop on “Women security against sexual harassment at working place under regulation 2013” in association with RTM Nagpur university and Maharashtra Rajya Mahila Ayog, Mumbai. The workshop was inaugurated by the hands of chief guest Smita Singalkar, Advocate High Court Nagpur in presence of Dr. Abhay Shende, Principal PJLCE and Vijaya Balpande Head of Computer Science & Engineering department and Member of ICC, other staff members and students.
The Chief Guest guided the students on various kinds of harassment by giving real time examples. She made students to share their experiences and advised how to tackle such situation. She also put light on Rules for ICC & “Vishaka guidelines” established by Supreme Court. Near about 530 students and lady staff members were prominently present for the workshop.
The workshop was compared by P. S. Borkar and vote of thanks was delivered by Shweta Gajbhiye.
