Students of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (Shrikrishna Nagar branch) Yash Kotecha and Anushka Gupta jointly topped the Commerce Stream with 98.4 percent marks in the Class 12 exam of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) results of which were declared on Monday (May 26). In Science Stream, Centre Point’s (Katol Road Branch) Sashank Sivanand bagged the first slot with 97.8 percent marks. Similarly, Charu Lavaliya of Bhavan’s (Shrikrishna Nagar) achieved the top honour in Humanities Stream by scoring 94.8 percent marks.
The Class 12 exams of CBSE were conducted in March. A total of 1800 students belonging to 20 CBSE schools appeared for the exams in Nagpur. Students of Commerce Stream excelled in the exam and eventually bagged the top slots. The second top slot was clinched by Centre Point’s (Wardhaman Nagar) Sakshi Agrawal with the score standing at 97.4 percent marks. The third top rank was bagged jointly by Saksham Jain and Rishi Loya of Bhavan’s (Civil Lines) with 97.2 percent marks. In Science Stream, the second top slot was clinched jointly by Shreya Mrug of Centre Point (Katol Road) and Lav-Kush of Bhavan’s (Civil Lines) by scoring 96.6 percent marks while Maitreyi Dange of Centre Point (Wardhaman Nagar) achieved the third top position by bagging 96.2 percent marks. The second top rank in Humanities Stream was clinched by Deeksha Bhamidipati of Centre Point (Katol Road) with 92.4 percent marks.
Almost all Nagpur schools achieved 100 percent result in the Class 12 exams of CBSE this year, too.

The Bhavan’s School (Shrikrishna Nagar) topped in Commerce and Humanities Streams while Centre Point School (Katol Road) topped in Science stream and Bhavan’s School, Civil Lines stood at Second place in Science and Commerce streams.
Following the CBSE curriculum is not that easy. The standards and various paraphernalia requisites laid down by the Central Board of Secondary Education are pretty tough and stringent ones. The role of teachers laid down by the board too is one of sheer hard-work. The success percentage of students reflects on the amount of hard work performed by them the year round.
