Nagpur: Yashwantrao Chavan Open University (YCOU) has launched B Sc (General) study course from the academic session 2015-16 for regular in-service primary teachers of private grant-in-aid schools run by Nagar Parishads and Mahanag Palika and Zilla Prishads of Gondia, Bhandara, Wardha, Gadchiroli, Chandrapur and Nagpur under Nagpur division.
The B Sc (Gen) is a 3-year course with English medium. The eligibility for the said course is XII pass in Arts, Commerce or Science and even HSC D Ed pass. There being 80 seats available the study centres are made available in Zilla Shikshan va Prashikshan Sanstha.
