The case of seven year old girl Yogita Thakre who was found dead inside a car parked in the premises of BJP’s National President Nitin Gadkari residence in Nagpur has been shifted for hearing on February 20.
Yogita’s dead body was recovered from the locked car on March 19, 2009. The investigation was assigned to CID after the incident caught controversy. In its closure report submitted last year, CID termed Yogita’s death was accidental and no evidence pointed towards murder.
However the conclusions were questioned given the suspicion condition under which Yogita’s body was sighted in the car. The demand for re-investigation also gathered voice following which first class judicial magistrate Neelima Patil ordered reopening of the case.
CID has also filed its closure report for the second time probe and put up for hearing in the same court.
The next hearing would be followed on February 20.
