Nagpur: In a bewildering incident, a young man hoodwinked his wife and then committed suicide in Yashodhara Nagar area here on Sunday.
The deceased Prakash alias Guddu Dubelal Vishwakarma (35), resident of Vinoba Bhave Nagar, behind Sangita School, Yashodhara Nagar, came to home from work earlier than the usual time. When his wife asked the reason for coming home earlier, Guddu told her he is not feeling well and also asked her to go to medical shop and bring glucose pack.
Accordingly, she went to the nearby medical store, purchased the glucose pack and returned home. However, she was stunned to find Guddu hanging to the ceiling fan with the help of a dupatta. Guddu committed suicide between 6 pm and 7 pm when his wife was away. The motionless Guddu was taken to Mayo Hospital with the help of neighbours but was pronounced brought dead.
