Nagpur: A 28-year old married woman immolated self in New Babulkheda, Ajni on Friday afternoon. The reason behind the woman torching herself could not be ascertained immediately.

The deceased, Jaywanta Nilesh Dongre (28), resident of New Babulkheda, near Maitreya Bouddha Vihar, poured kerosene on her person and set her ablaze around 2.30 pm on Friday at her residence. She received critical burn injuries and was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital where she succumbed around 9.45 pm on same day during course of treatment.

Ajni Woman PSI Mandvale, based on information, registered a case of accidental death and probing the matter from all angles.
