Nagpur: A youth returning from Seminary Hills along with his girl friend was attacked after few unidentified elements threw red chilli powder on his face under Gittikhadan area. The youth was inflicted with serious injuries and he has been admitted to a private hospital.
Police sources said Aniket Tambe, resident of Mohan Nagar, Khalasi Line was on his way from Seminary Hills when he felt the pinch in his eyes. It turned out that two youths sprayed red chilli powder on his face and attacked him with a sharp edged weapon.
They also tried to rob Tambe but he somehow managed to shoo them away.
