Nagpur News: Kalamna police have arrested a 23-year-old-youth on charges of outraging the modesty of a minor girl. The accused Shailesh Purushottam Sakharkar (23), a resident of Udiya Mohalla, behind Davlewadi, Bhandewai, was in love affair with a 17-year-old-girl. Sakharkar called the girl at his house, and on the pretext of marrying her established physical relations without her consent.

On the complaint of the minor girl, Kalamna Police Inspector Sarode arrested the youth and charged him under Sections 376 (2) (n), 506 of the IPC read with sub section 5 (L), 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act 2012 and sub sections 3 (1) (12) and 3 (2) (5) of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.
