Nagpur: Pardi Police arrested a y outh for allegedly sexually exploiting a minor girl on marriage promise and impregnating her.The accused, Shivam Sheshrao Mehra (19) is a resident of Ekta Nagar, Bhandewadi, Pardi.
The 15-year-old victim lodged a complaint that Shivam befriended her. Between October and November last year, he took her to his house and established a physical relationship
by promising to tie the nuptial knot with her.

As a result, she conceived. On the basis of the victim’s complaint and medical reports, police registered a case under Sections 376(2)(i)(n) of the Indian Penal Code, read with Sections 4,5 (j)(2), 6 of the PoCSO Act against Shivam. Further investigations are underway.
