Sakkardara police booked a youth for abetting a young girl to commit suicide. The incidence, police said, occurred on March 6 when the deceased Ashwini Pramod Dabhe (25) hanged herself to the ceiling of her house at Quarter No. 4/42, near Kamgar Kalyan Bhavan.

Cops registered a case of accidental death after getting information from Ranchandra Kalbande (50). Cops sent the body for post-mortem and started the investigations. During investigation, Ashwini’s father Pramod Dabhe revealed that Ashwin was in love with the accused Anil Gedam, a resident of Siraspeth. However, the accused refused to marry her which made her heartbroken. Thus, she committed suicide.
