Youth attacked over old rivalry in Kalamna

Kalamna Police arrested one and booked two persons for allegedly attacking a youth over old rivalry on Tuesday.

Complainant Sachin Rupchand Wasnik (24) had an argument with one of the accused Nagesh Khadse over liquor issue a few days ago. In a fit of rage, Nagesh met Sachin on Tuesday and offered to have liquor. Nagesh took him in front of MD Auto Mobiles, Railway Station, Bhandewadi and attacked him with an hattimar knife. Other two accused Rajesh Mahadev Khadse (32) and an unidentified youth attacked Sachin with sword and another knife, thus, seriously injuring him.

Someone noticed the blood stained body of Sachin and informed Kalamna police about the incidence. Cops immediately reached the spot and sent him to Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital for treatment. Cops have registered an offence under Sections 307 and 34 read with section 4+25 of Mumbai Police Act and arrested Rajesh Khadse while other two are still at large.
