Nagpur News: A group of five persons attacked a youth and attempted to kill him on Monday night. According to police, complainant Umesh Suresh Yadav (23), a resident of Plot No. 61, Chandan Nagar, was going from near Ramabai Garden, Guard Room Chowki, when the accused Sonu Chandel, Avi Raut, Dharmendra Yadav, Ashish Robert, and John Guldeokar stopped him.
Sonu started an argument with Umesh regarding some old trivial issue. Argument soon turned into heated-up arguments and aggravated Sonu attacked Umesh with a sharp knife on his head. Mates of Sonu Avi, Dharmendra, Ashish and John also beat Umesh and attacked him with sharp weapons.

On being informed, Imambada police reached the spot. Umesh was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital for treatment. On the complaint of Umesh, cops registered an offence under Sections 307, 143, 144, 147, 148, 149, 294 of the IPC and booked the accused. Cops are on toes to find the accused.
