Nagpur News: Ganpati Visarjan proved fatal to a youth when his boat overturned in Naik Talao on Thursday night resulting in the watery grave of the youth. Police said, the deceased Pramod Mahadev Parate (27), a resident near Naik Talao, Bangladesh, Pachpaoli along with his seven friends had gone to immerse idol of Lord Ganesha in Naik Talao. When the boat reached a distance, it suddenly overturned due to imbalance of the people and the idol. Parate along with his friends fell in the deep water. Divers saved the others except Pramod. Divers fished out his body.
On getting information, officials from Pachpaoli police Stattion reached the spot. On the complaint of Kamlesh Mahadev Parate (22), PI Gadge registered a case of accidental death.
