Nagpur News : Rash driving by a truck driver claimed life of a 25-year-old youth and injured a middle aged couple on Isasani road, near Rai Town 2 in MIDC on Friday morning.
Indrajit Kuvar, a resident of Kalmegh Nagar on Hingna road, owned a hardware shop.
Accused truck driver Tulsidas Meshram has been arrested by police.

Police said Kuvar was driving to Isasani on his bike when the Meshram knocked down his speeding truck to Kuvar’s bike. He was crushed under the rear wheels of the truck. Later, in a bid to flee, Meshram hit a couple on bike. Gobarilal Pardhi and his wife Shalini are undergoing treatment at a private hospital.
Eye-witness told that many commuters had a lucky escape as Meshram was driving in zigzag manner. He was caught and thrashed by passers-by before handing him over to the police.
