A youth was killed in a road accident after an unidentified vehicle dashed into his motorcycle on Saturday under the jurisdiction of MIDC police station.

According to reports, Ravi Shahu (22), a resident of Amar Nagar, Hingna Road, was riding his motorcycle with his friend riding pillion on Saturday. He was going from Electric Zone Square when an unidentified vehicle hit their motorcycle near Pankaj nullah. Ravi Shahu sustained serious injuries in the accident and he was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital for treatment. However, he succumbed to the injuries on Sunday early morning around 4.45 am.

MIDC police registered a case of accidental death and started their investigations.
