Nagpur News : ‘Cop fear’ seem to have no affect on the people in Nagpur. On Saturday, a gang of 3-4 youths killed a youth with sharp-edged weapons in full public view. Though a youth was arrested in this connection but other are still at large. It has raised several fingers towards police department and its fear among the criminals and the security of common people.
As per information, the deceased has been recognised as Gaurav Kondawar, aged 22, while the arrested accused was identified as Ashish Make. Gaurav runs a decoration business. On Thursday, a quarrel took place between Roshan Gupta and his brother. Gaurav intervened to settle the argument but Roshan started arguing with Gaurav. After some time, he along with his friend Ashish Make thrashed Gaurav over the same issue. Gaurav lodged a complaint with Ajni police.

However, both got bail on Friday. On Saturday evening, Gaurav was standing near Jayanti Nagar when 3-4 youths approached him and attacked him sharp-edged weapons. The bloodshot stunned the eyewitnesses and no one dared to intervene and help Gaurav. The accused fled away after the assassination. Someone informed Ajni police who immediately reached the murder scene. They performed panchanama and sent the body for post-mortem.
Cops started investigation in which the quarrel between Roshan and Gaurav came to fore but exact reason of this brutal murder is still not clear for the police. Cops have arrested Avinash Make in this connection but cops are digging deep to get into the facts of the murder. Ashish claims that he has no connection in the murder. It is interesting to note that one of Ashish’s family members is in police and this has increased the sensitivity of the issue.
