Youth sets bike ablaze over old rivalry near Gittikhadan

A youth set a motorcycle ablaze under the jurisdiction of Gittikhadan police station Due to old rivalry. The incident took place on the intervening night of Sunday and Monday.

According to report, one Arvind Vishwas Nandeshwar (45) parked his pulsar bike (MH 31 DX 4334) in front of Good Luck Bar, Friends Colony at 12.30 am on Monday. The accused, identified as Vishal, came out of the bar and noticed Arvind. Vishal was already holding grudges against Arvind and seeing the opportunity to avenge self, he went inside and asked for a match stick on the pretext of smoking. After acquiring the match stick, he came out and unplug the petrol tube and lit the motorcycle afire.

Police said, Vishal was a tiff with Arvind and last incident was the fall out of that tiff. Meanwhile, cops have registered an offence under Sections 435 of the IPC and booked Vishal.
