Youth stabbed teen girl on head at Parvati Nagar

In another incident of unsafe women in city, an 18-year-old girl was stabbed by an unidentified youth in Ajni police station area on Wednesday evening. The incident took place near Parvati Nagar around 5 pm.

The victim Nisha Motghare, a BA second year student, is recuperating at Vairagde hospital on Manewada Road. Police has booked the unidentified youth for assaulting. Nisha is a resident of Balaji Nagar.

According to the police information, the victim was heading to Kaushalya Nagar from her tuition class on her scooter when a youth on bike stopped her and asked her not to change her route. The youth suddenly stabbed her when she questioned him why she should change the route.

While the assaulter fled away nearby residents rushed her to the hospital. Police said that the victim is stated to be out of danger. Cops are investigating whether the girl had any rivalry or whether the youth was an eve teaser.
