Nagpur: The drastic decline in Covid-19 cases continued in Nagpur district as on the second consecutive day on Monday, nobody died of the virus and nobody tested positive either. No patient is under treatment at any hospital.
Though the number of single-day recovery is very small, the recovery rate rose to 98.21%. With three persons becoming corona free, the cumulative recovery reached 5,67,361. Because of low single-day recovery though the active cases did not reduce, they did not increase either. The number of active cases stood at 27.

Covid-19 testing in Nagpur district has gone down drastically to 697. Nagpur rural reported 66 testing while the city has registered 631 testing. This has taken the cumulative testing to 53,70,579. The samples examined through RT PCR were 618 while 79 were through Rapid Antigen Test.
Details of daily testing done at various laboratories include Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital (IGGMCH) (9), Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) (7), All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) (18), National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI) (0), Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) (0) and private laboratories (584). Some laboratories are doing an Antigen test whose testing number stood at 79.
